Platform Guidelines

Disclaimer

Legal limitations, browser-first processing boundaries, and user responsibilities for the SHRTX platform.

1. Information Accuracy

SHRTX tools are designed as general productivity utilities. While we strive for reliability, all outputs are provided for user convenience. Results generated by our tools should be verified before being used for important or sensitive tasks. SHRTX does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any generated output.

2. Browser Processing & Device Responsibility

SHRTX Web is a static browser-based tool platform. Supported tools execute directly within your browser using modern capabilities such as File APIs, Canvas APIs, Web APIs, and WebAssembly where applicable.

Important: Selecting or adding a local file inside a tool does not constitute a server upload. Files remain on your device during local processing workflows. The actual processing is handled by your browser and hardware.

Tool performance depends on your browser capability, available memory, device hardware, and the size of the files being processed. We recommend keeping original backups of your data before using any tool that modifies files.

3. No Professional Advice

Tool outputs and content on this platform are for informational purposes only. They do not replace professional legal advice, financial advice, security reviews, engineering validation, or expert judgement. Users are responsible for how they apply tool results to their specific professional or personal contexts.

4. Third Party Links

SHRTX may contain links to external websites or services. SHRTX does not control, and is not responsible for, the content, policies, availability, or practices of any third-party websites or services.

5. Open Source Dependencies

SHRTX utilizes selected open-source libraries and browser technologies to deliver its features. While we choose reputable dependencies, we are not liable for limitations or issues arising from upstream software projects. We do not make exaggerated security or performance claims regarding these underlying technologies.

6. Machine-Assisted Development Transparency

SHRTX's development workflow may utilize machine learning and AI coding assistance for implementation support, debugging, documentation, and testing ideas. While AI tools assist our development process, they do not replace human review. Important platform changes are reviewed and validated before release.

7. Analytics and Measurement Disclaimer

SHRTX tools are designed browser-first. Supported file operations happen locally in the browser, while separate operational systems collect limited product analytics to improve reliability and development decisions.

SHRTX may operate first-party analytics infrastructure using Cloudflare Workers, D1, and related services. Collected operational signals may include:

  • Page usage and navigation patterns
  • Tool activation and execution counts
  • Performance indicators and error signals
  • Anonymous product trends and search interaction patterns

Purpose: These analytics help us understand which tools are useful, prioritize improvements, detect technical problems, and guide future development.

Privacy Boundary: Tool analytics measure usage events. They do not store uploaded files, converted images, document contents, or private text entered into local tools.

Additional third-party operational services may include Google Analytics, Cloudflare Analytics, Sentry, and advertising measurement systems where enabled. Consent controls are provided to manage applicable tracking where required.

8. Advertising / Sponsorship Disclaimer

Any advertising or sponsorships displayed on SHRTX are clearly separated from tool results. They do not modify tool outputs and do not represent an automatic endorsement of the advertised products or services by SHRTX.
