Transparency regarding advertising providers, editorial independence, and placement standards on the SHRTX platform.

1. Advertising Provider Transparency

SHRTX may utilize third-party advertising providers, such as Google AdSense, to support the operation of the platform. These advertisements are delivered by external ad networks. While SHRTX strives to maintain high placement standards and control ad categories where possible, we do not personally approve every individual advertisement or guarantee the claims made by third-party advertisers.

2. Editorial Independence

The presence of advertising on SHRTX does not influence our editorial or technical decisions. Advertising revenue does not control tool availability, ranking, product roadmap decisions, or the accuracy of our documentation. SHRTX utilities are built around practical usefulness and user-centric design, independent of commercial placements.

3. Ad Placement Standards

We are committed to a clean user experience and avoid deceptive advertising patterns. SHRTX adheres to the following standards:

  • Advertisements are clearly distinguished from platform content.
  • Ads are not disguised as download buttons or tool action triggers.
  • Ads are placed to avoid blocking or interfering with normal tool workflows.
  • We do not encourage or require artificial engagement with advertisements.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

SHRTX may occasionally include affiliate links within selected articles or guide content. If you click on an affiliate link and make a purchase, SHRTX may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. These relationships are disclosed where applicable and do not change our technical recommendations or software reviews.

5. Privacy and Consent Alignment

Our advertising systems are designed to respect the browser-first architecture of SHRTX.

  • Data Isolation: Local tool inputs and processed files are strictly separate from advertising and analytics systems. Supported local-processing tool data remains on your device and is not transferred to SHRTX servers.
  • Operational Signals: We use first-party analytics (Cloudflare) and third-party systems (Google Analytics) to measure platform usage and reliability.
  • Consent Controls: Advertising features follow applicable user consent controls and privacy regulations.
